[:p Whooooop finally after 6 years, 4 changes of supervisor, 100's of tears and 3 extensions we have made our last payment. With DFD so not expecting our completion certificate anytime soon, but don't really care, I never want credit again.
so to all those who have just started their Iva's or part way through, stay strong that final day does come and the feeling is wonderful.

Well done, Jill -- hopefully the tidying up won't take too long -- but at least your money is now your own :-)

Well done, I have 2 payments left myslef (with DFD) and mine will be 6 years after it should have been 5. I agree with you totally, I myself dont care about a certificute or anything DFD will throw at me when its over, I kept my end of the bargain to the letter and wont be paying another penny....I live in my council place and safe and never want another loan or credit card ever again..Strictly save up and buy things or go without..Well done and wish you all the luck in the world with your debt free future :-)
IVA complete March 2014 after 6 years.

Hi Jill and a very big well done from me too, I'm now nearing 18 months since I finished with DFD, I have got my certificate thankfully. Life has been very good to me since I finished, I, like yourself won't have credit cards again, if I can't afford it, I go without or save up, this year is going to be a big year for me as I'm getting married in September and have just got promotion at work so all good. Good luck for your now debt free future. xxx
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

its a great felling when its over and your moneys your own. Been out of mine a year and for the first year for a long time I paid my car insurance in good old cash.

I agree Kev it is a good feeling, although the journey to the end can sometimes seem tedious and at times challenging it is one that is definitely worth it.

Just today I've noticed a big change in my credit file and I'm feeling fairly upbeat about that side of my life.

Must be great to know that you have made your last payment. Hopefully that completion statement may not be too far away.
