I have written and posted the card to my sister in the US,the rest I am planning to write this weekend. It is always an evenings work as I have quite a big family plus I need to write 40+ for work, so my Christmas CD goes on plus all the tree lights etc and I sit and feel all christmassy and write cards.

Ours went up last weekend as step grandaughter was here so it was something to keep her occupied.

I'm 35 and I've still got an advent calendar - a yummy Thorntons one!

Helen you're so much better than me - thankfully Dave's grandchildren hardly ever visit, but even if they did they wouldn't be telling me where to put the tree!

The chocolate is lovely isn't it Lesley? I don't usually like the chocolate in advent calendars as it can taste stale, but not this!

I have to agree it's lovely, he bought us one last year too and do you know last year was the first time I'd ever had an advent calendar. x

Daughters is a Thorntons as well with her name on - she has just returned and attacked hers!

I've never had one and never will.

I'm going to attempt to put the tree up tomorrow..how long it will stay up with Dobby and the cats is anyones guess.

All 3 pets have an advent calendar, but Dobby has been naughty today, so not allowed his ( grandaughter's orders) [:D]
