Well received our completion certificates a week ago, and our names came off the insolvency register yesterday,, that is quick, was told 3 months,, now to tackle our credit files,, that might take a bit longer I think,, but so far so good [:D]

Echo Lesleys advice .. check your records regularly ..defaults will drop off and very quickly you will be completely free from your iva with no reference to it. Just keep an eye on Equifax as they have a tendancy to add to a notice of correction which remains until you request it is removed.

just going through my Equifax credit file,, am I correct in saying that all the old debts will drop off my file 6 years after the default date shown ? or there abouts,, its showing my iva is in month 71,, and most debts are showing a default date of mid October 2009,, about the same time as we started our IVA,, funny how some of the debts were shown as settled in 2012 ??,,which is strange.
