We've just started our IVA which was approved in July. I'm trying to think of extra ways to get some money in such as ebay and mystery shopping. Ebay would be selling my own stuff from around the house. I was wondering if I would have to declare this and pay some/all of it to the IP?

If the IP wanted to get really picky I suppose they could say you were realising an asset and that the money should go into the IVA.

In reality I think nearly everyone has sold something at some point to help make ends meet and not told their IP..

You would only have to declare it if you were running a business. Selling your own stuff is fine. I do it regularly.

Personal assets tend to be excluded from IVA proposals, so sell away and keep the funds so long as they are small amounts from the sale of exempt assets.
