to be honest Nicola I'm not sure but I do hold the Natwest account myself and do rate it for my personal use.
Maybe one of the others will know?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I also hold a Natwest basic account but I opened it before I started to have problems with my finances. As RBS and Natwest are of the same group of companies it is hard to know just how much info they share between the two of them, and I do know when they opened my so called basic account I still went through credit scoring.
Has the IVA finished or are you still in one?

The Natwest has just downgraded my current account to a basic account, so they may let you open one of them
