Would an IVA include any part of secured loans

My son has a mortgage with HSBC for 135000 and an additional loan of 20000. He has other debts exceeding 16000 which is causing him the problem for repayment. Would an IVA include any part of the loans secured on his home?

Hi ch and welcome to the forum. Only unsecured debts can be included in an IVA. Can you post more details of his unsecured debts (i.e. how many creditors he has) so that the experts can give you more advice.
