Worth taking legal action? My iva should have come off my credit file in June 2013 but due to the terrible ppi saga I still have not received my completion certificate. Is this not a breach of contract when I got in my iva??
I totally feel like I have not been an,e to get on with my life and feel like it has been mis sold to me

David - you IVA is still active if you have not had your completion certificate - therefore will remain on credit file until this happens

It is worth frequently contacting your IVA company about your closure of IVA. If you are unhappy use their own internal complains procedure. If this fails then use their own regulators

Where is the breach of contract ? The only likely one that comes to mind is that they have extended the term without giving due notice as detailed in the terms of the arrangement. However, to take any legal action will cost thousands, ans quite likely fail.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Yes David,
I am affraid they got you by the short and curlies,
IP's can do no wrong, what they say goes,
They got everything tied up in a nice little bow and there is nothing that can be done about it.
Even paying 100p in the £ is not enough.
My agreement has been broken on so many levels, yet I can do nothing about it to hear people talk.
Just have to grin and bare it I'm affraid mate.
