All

Slightly worried on application for a new role at the company I have worked at for nearly 9 years.

It is an FCA regulated company my position there would be to coach staff and deal with customer complaints and to ensure that service get a delivered as expected.

Would my IVA have a detrimental affect here do you feel? And if so if it does get found out do you think i could lose my current role if get declined for new one? In my contract of employment it advises only for Bankruptcy to be declared.

Any advice would be of great help

Thanks

Hopefully you should be ok.

Well an IVA and Bankruptcy are two different animals, so, on what you have said, it should be OK, but this is only a guess.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I would hope it would be ok as the two are very different and your new role as you describe it is not finance related directly anyway.

Ironically when I took a promotion, it had less financial impact as I moved area and have no responsibility for payment systems. My old job pre IVA included making payments which were then summarily checked by a manager and approved. As I had access to update account payment methods and make payments I would have had these functions removed of my manager knew I was in financial difficulty as I might amend the payment method and then pay myself.

I always begrudged the fact the implication was that I might steal, as I had very little money. Personally, I would be more suspicious of those who appeared to be living beyond their means.

Hope the new role is successful.
