What a nightmare for you, it must seem you go from one crisis to another. Fingers and everything else crossed for you. let us know how you get on.

I'll know by 1:30pm well that's the meeting time and then I'm off back to my Manager (2nd job) to discuss as she's well versed on procedures.

I do hold two positions within the college and it's my teaching position that is at risk. x

We are all made redundant, 9 people. They are going to offer 3 jobs, at a grade higher than I am currently at for 11 hours per week for the 3 posts only, a drastic change and a huge cut in hours.

I will apply after the 30 day consultation period, nothing ventured etc., Bit demoralised at the minute and how I can go back teaching on Monday with a cheery attitude not sure but I'll pull myself around over the weekend.

Lesley I am so sorry to hear that.

Hopefully you can get one of these jobs.

Wish there was something I could do to help. Sending you a big hug.

When will you actually finish? Will you get a redundancy payment?

So sorry to read that Lesley. What a rotten time you are having at the moment! You are so close to the end now, I'm sure Mel and her team will be able to sort something out for you. Try not to get too down although I know that's easier said than done. You are due some good luck and I hope it comes your way very soon. Lots of hugs x

There will be redundancy payment and we would finish at the end of the academic year. However, we have been told if we can find other positions we can leave without notice and take redundancy...fat chance no jobs around here!

Perhaps you'll be able to use your redundancy to offer a full and final offer?
