because of my bad credit rating i have to pay my rent 6 mths in advanced every 6 mths which i have done for the last 2 yrs.when i go bankrupt will the OR count this money ,money to be paid to my creditors

Hi Jayne, I'm sorry I don't have the answer but others that will know will hopefully be along very soon. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Although we did not go bankrupt we had to do the same thing...we set up a standing order from one bank account to another with a title of 'advance rent' which showed on our statements each month...our IP accepted this ......I presume you have your tenancy agreement where it states this is to happen a proof for the OR? If it is not specific in its wording i would ask them to write you a letter confirming this action.
