If the unsecured debt is all in my name, will my wife have to be included in the IVA as she has one loan in her name and the mortgage is the only thing in joint names. Can her one loan continue?
Also, when agreement is reached with the creditors how will the payments be decided as I am self employed and have variable income?

Your wife will likely be given a budget to pay her one creditor within the joint income and expenditure that you will commit to. This budget will usually be calculated based on the size of the debt and the percentage of income your Wife contributes to the household.

Your income will be calculated as an estimated projection when you meet with your IP and this will be based on past performance and future projections.
Best Regards
