I have had an IVA for almost a year and I have recently got married. All of my debts were incurred before I met my husband and it was on;t meeting him that made me sort my financial situation out.
My husband is not working at the moment but when he does get a job will his income be taking into account?

Your husbands earning will only be taken into account to ensure you both pay your share towards the household bills and living expenses.
Anything he earns above that is his to keep.

Gratulations!

Partners income usually taken into account, in order to see that you both share household expenses fairly.

In my case, I bring in 40% of household income, so pay 40% of household bills.

Though your "joint" expenditure will be higher than your previous "single" expenditure(?), when spilt may enable more to be paid.

Probably worth getting the numbers together as you due a yearly review soon?
