You definitely need to speak to 2 or 3 bricky.
You need to work with these people for 5 years (or possibly longer) and I went with gut feeling after speaking to 2. We went with McCambridge Duffy after many emails and eventually, when I had the nerve, telephone calls to Mike Peoples.
Never regretted it for a moment. I never spoke to my IP, but I never needed to. His staff were excellent and rang me when they said they would and dealt with all my emails and letters swiftly.

I agree with everyone above;
I have just completed with DFD and just like Merlin above , DFD where superb throughout my IVA but in terms of closing, they needed pushing every step of the way.annual reviews were always turned round in less than a week , sometime 3-4 days even. Staff during my 6 year IVA were very helpful, stopped me from breaching when I took a huge drop in pay ( it was that or be made redundant ) And a variation approved a new payment of £500 a month less than originally agreed
However, as mentioned numerous times above, if I started again I would definitely choose the night owl ( Melanie giles ) due to her down to earth , common sense and understanding of individuals circumstances
Its fair to say however that the DFD delays are due to the PPI issues and in all,fairness this won be an issue maybe in 12-18 months so anyone starting out on the iva journey now I'm sure will not have to endure this in 5,years time
Good luck and be sure to ask any questions on the way
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

Melanie, Sam Hawkins as i feel they are both very humanistic and realistic people who care about their clients, if i sas embarking on my IVA journey i would definately be considering them, sadly i was already a year into my IVA when i stumbled across this forum. Good luck Bricky i'm sure that whoever you choose to go with will serve you well and yes the VAT/PPI problems will have certainly gone away when you near completion.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.
IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

I've just had an IVA approved after years of messing around and ignoring problems . I found mcCambridge Duffy and in particular Michael People's who has been absolutely wonderful. Go with who you feel
You click with and who understands your personality and personal needs , 5 years is a long time! Good
Luck x

I'm with Melanie Giles but as others say do some homework now and find someone who suits you.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
