Found this great site if you are not up to answering your calls. http://www.whocallsme.com
Just found some interesting info on Freemans and Grattan. They call but dont speak! I get about 8 calls a day from that number, now I know who it is (I owe Freemans £399).

I had a similar experience though with my car manufacturer.
They rang and always hung up before I had the opportunity to answer the phone, literally one ring and then it stopped. I used the site you refer to and traced the number. I rang the head office and asked for an explanation. I was told that trained monkeys (My words) are paid to contact you and give information about certain of their other products. Apparently they are required to make so many calls in a day. The system they used would show that an attempt had been made to contact you on such a date and at such a time. What the system did not record - but now does - was the duration of the call. What the trained monkeys were doing was simply dialing out and hanging up. As far as their logs were concerned, they had made contact with you and the monkeys could therefore have their bananas.
My argument was that for all I knew, there could be a fault with my car and they were attempting to recall it. I was assured that systems would be changed and funnily enough, I've not had a call from them since.
I would class it as harrassment, since you are receiveing calls clearly from Freemans, but no one is actually speaking to you.
Tell it like it is.

Thanks for that. Squillions of calls from an 0113 number, just used the site and found out its Northern Rock. I know I should just answer, but I'm not strong enough at the moment!
The Freemans calls are creepy though. They just hand up or stay on the line and dont speak but you can hear someone breathing.

Ignore them all drowning-mummy. It's not worth getting upset over. You can have your day with them once your IVA has been approved. It's a great feeling, believe me!

I like that site and duly added to favourites.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Ignore all the calls from any number you don't recognise. When the IVA is approved they should eventually stop
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
