hi i have been in an iva for nearly five years and was just wondering what has happend to me during it and i was amazed at the dramatic events i had to cope wit along with coping with an iva , well hear goes sister died, brother died ,had my old horse put to sleep found my horse dead on the field , had to have my dog put to sleep,hubby in hospital over xmas all in 5 years any one else had to cope with any dramas ,
its a long lane that has no turning

Good grief - any good things happen in the 5 years? You poor thing - and you carried on with the IVA. Many a person with those things happening would have failed.

hi,well i just kept telling myself things can only get better i was dammed sure i was not going to let my iva fail as well, that i had control over but it does make me wonder of peoples hardships along the way .

The vast majority of us will have something go wrong in our personal lives during the term of the IVA. I've had a major operation and lost a couple of relatives and had to have a dog put to sleep.

That is indeed a hard time. My sympathies and I'm glad you still managed to stick to the IVA.
1st payment Oct 2008, last payment Dec 2013. Certificate received March 2015 due to PPI claim.

Am I the only one who sees the irony of this thread and the OP user name [:D] Gave me a giggle though.

Sounds like you have had an eventful 5 years, I hope the next is only full of good things not bad.
