My dad loves it too Jan, the distillery is about 20 mins from me and there's a visitor centre there.[:)] If ever you and hubby come to Wales [;)]

I like the Brecon 5 vodka myself [:I][:D]

You shouldn't drink Penderyn with anything other than water.

I wouldn't touch whisky with orange juice - yuk!

Hate red wine as well (unless it is mulled with spices). Rose, white and sparkling (preferably champagne!) is my choice.

Have you tried whiskey and orange Jan?
Mulled wine is like liquified mince pies to me, each to his/her own

On the subject of wales i love it! and love the ad "you can't have our mud!!"

Prefer to be in wales or scotland than england, although last year i upset a pub for of scots, I was in Fort william, they had a footie game on in the pub scotland vs someone and they lost, i innocently ( and stupidly) asked for them to change the channel after and put the england game on! didn't go down well

I honestly forgot where i was, with my mountain biking i was up there with a few friends riding the new ben nevis red xc route. We were sat in the pub having a few after ride beers and the atmosphere was awesome till scotland lost! luckily we were ok and we go to watch the england game, just very quietly!!

At least they could have seen a decent team then Ant!

Speaking of things made in Wales, when we went to the Ideal Home Show we bought some cheese from the Snowdonia Cheese Co. It's the best cheese I've ever had!

I'll have to try that cheese Skip! I enjoy Caerphilly Cheese[:)]

If anyone drinks bottled water, then Brecon Carreg is very refreshing.

My dad in law makes the best Welsh cakes, delicious mmmm.

I've found a deli at Pagham that sells it and I bought some Pickle Power today, which has pickled onion in it.

The other ones are plain, garlic and herb, chilli, whiskey and ginger. The chilli was too hot for me and I haven't tried the whiskey, but the rest are gorgeous.

Hmmm, diet, what's that?!?!

Seriously I can have cheese as a healthy extra on SW so I don't have to miss out.

I'm a sucker for cheese too and can't think of one I don't like. Good that you can include it on SW Skip [:)]

I'll bring some Welsh cakes to FF Jan, if I make it. Lovely with a cuppa [:)]
