What access would creditors or the company I have the IVA with, have to my bank account or any other personal information?

Hey busbybabes, welcome to the forum. They wouldn't be able to access our bank account at all, but you will have to provide bank statements and you will also need to supply certain personal details for your application. X

Depends who you do your IVA with. I have been told that Paplan will not require any bank statements from us.

They would only be able to access your financial information if you give them permission.

I currently have a debt management arrangement, with Gregory Pennington who are based in Manchester.

I'm just trying to find out as much as possible about IVA's before I potentially apply for one.

The reason I ask is that I have heard some scare stories about access certain parties involved, would have to personal information.

How regulary would bank statements have to be produced??

Thanks already for your help so far...[8D]

Hi busybabes. It all depends on who you do your IVA through. Each firm is different. Some require them annually, others do reviews every three months.

As I said previously, I am with Payplan and they do not require bank statements, only my last three months payslips before my annual review.
