I'm the world's biggest coward (as you probably know!) so there's no way I could do it! You've done so well after it though x

I don't usually drink alcohol to start with, that said my first drink of this year was a Baileys' miniature [:D]

I have fleetingly thought about gastric surgery, but I have been seeing my GP regularly since my last bad anxiety attack (June 2010) and he has never gone any further than suggesting I take more exercise and maybe see the nurses at the surgery. With regard to blood pressure/circulation etc. I am actually very well and don't have problems with anything like that - this is much to my surprise as much as anyone else's!!

I don't have a Wii Fit, I confess I am a total ignoramus with regards to consoles and stuff, are they expensive? Although I guess the investment would be worth it in the long term... I like Peejayel's idea of the stomach muscle holding, since I read it, I've been doing it intermittently!

I need to change lots of things, not only my eating habits, I need to de-clutter too, but it's trying to do it in bits and pieces so it is pleasurable.
Final payment 1st April 2016.
Completion Certificate received 19th May 2016.

On Amazon the Wii console is around £130.00 and the Wii Fit game and balance board is £70 to £85.

I prefer EA Sports Active to the Wii Fit game as it's harder, but I would definitely say the Wii Fit game is worth getting.

I had a gastric band, however it slipped and I had to have it removed in an emergency operation. There is no way I could pay to have another now, have no idea how possible it is to get the NHS to pay and how long you have to sit on a waiting list. I may discuss with my GP as my BMI is now 47.

In the meantime I shall do my best to rein in my eating and improve the quality of my food.
Last payment December 2019! OMG!

I actually had the full bypass. My BMI had to be 50 before I had mine. It was on the NHS and my PCT agreed to pay for it.

Skippy,
I got my wii fit plus(well hubby paid I ordered it) when Amazon were having a sale and only paid £39.99 for it. You can pick up wii consoles quite cheap on ebay now the wii u is out.

Been looking at ea sports for when i get bored with the wii fit at the moment though I an enjoying it

That's a good price Peejayel.

I keep looking at the Wii U but can't justify it at the moment.

EA Sports is much better than the Wii Fit! You can still usethe balance board but you actually feel as though you've worked out, which I don't with the Wii Fit.

I've got EA Sports Active and EA Sports Active More Workouts and I prefer the second one.

I find the 20 minute island free run quite good I am quite hot and sweaty (I know TMI) after it,

I do the free step to warm up for 10 mis then the 20 min island run afterwards, when I am doing an hour work out I add in some lunges and hula hooping.

I like the cycling on the Wii Fit but my favourite thing is the obstacle course - one day I'll finish it! I have to say I don't enjoy the island run - I get bored running on the spot!

Well done!

I lost 1lb this week which, considering I was on minus 77 weekly points last week, I'm pretty pleased with! I always go about 20 points over but I thought 77 was pushing my luck a bit!
