Well let's start another thread for the year 2013 - I rejoined WW last night...yes I know I keep joining and leaving but it does work for me and I CAN do it! I'm at my all time heaviest so need to do something.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Good luck!

I have to say... going through the IVA process was good in a way. With all the stress I lost over three stone!!

You can do it!

When I lost my weight (2 stone), I stopped eating carbs after 18.00 5 days a week, with one cheat day and it seemed to keep my weight loss maintained. Because getting it off in the first place is so hard, but rewarding. Keeping it off is harder still.
IVA complete March 2014 after 6 years.

Hi guys, just a quickie ( before I race off to watch the footie) - I recently had the "hypno-band" and have lost 7lb in 2 weeks!

I'll keep you updated on my progress[:)]

I've just been googling that Julie, it looks really interesting! Well done you.

Was chatting with the hubby this morning, he knows I'm unhappy with my shape n wobbly bits (he said he loves me the way I am aww) my bmi is in the obese section & I am really fed up of clothes not fitting properly, muffin shaped springs to mind! I want to look n feel better for our 1st night out in 4 years in July.
Need to stop eating Doritos & cut out my wine at weekends & get out more walking etc!

I used hypnosis, many years ago, to get me off a sugar addiction ( I used to have 4 spoons in a cup and eat it from the bowl too) !! Anyway .. after a few sessions I gave up sugar completely. I must admit that, around a decade later, I stared again ... but I only have 1 spoon per cup (it was half a spoon until recently).. and I use "Half spoon" which helps.

I remember licking my finger as a child & dipping it in the sugar bowl! At least it's better than being addicted to drink or drugs Foggy, maybe your using it as a comfort at the moment?
I comfort eat but it's not things like chocolate, it's blooming crisps n Doritos! Doritos are my worst enemy at the moment, I think I have a slight addiction to them as I panic if there are none in the house! Giving them up will be really hard for me.

Cheese & onion crisps are my downfall., but I can honestly say I have not wanted a crisp since the hypno treatment. There was a special deal on social living website - similar to groupon.

Chocolate (especially Kitkat) is my downfall and part of the problem is I don't want to give it up. I think I'm going to have to accept I'll always be a bit overweight!

Ice cream is my big downfall, and chocolate knows me by name (I swear it calls from the cupboard). But I don't care anymore :-)

Oh wow Skippy and I thought I was the only one! I have to admit to having a lolly out this afternoon but pointed everything and got 5 left, just deciding if I want anything else or not...
