We are coming up to 3 years of our IVA and have been approached by Debt Free Direct to again look at our arrangement, why. We both work many hours overtime to pay back as much as possible. I am 63 and worried about demands for more money etc, surely when an arrangement has been made it should be kept to by all parties.

Maybe you have almost paid it all off, maybe they want to go over your I&E just to check it's correct, maybe it's equity release or PPI

I think you should ask them if there is any area they feel needs discussion

They are obliged to revisit your income and expenditure every year, as per the agreement, and to make any changes to your payment, again, as dictated by the agreed terms.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

It seems that DFD are looking to move their clients onto the new 2014 protocol. Presumably to include the secured loan clause?? Apologies if I am wrong and it's something else

Your current contract is binding on all parties. I think you need to query with your IP why they feel that there are now grounds for having it amended.
