Without wishing my life away, I wish I was nearer 60 than I am now --- then I could retire. Only 6 years to go, but as I approach that magic number the government are likely to move it further away from me !!!!

I'm looking forward to being 60 - never thought I would do that! Hopefully the goalposts won't be moved beforehand!!!

25 years married!!!!! Blimey I didn't manage that between two of them! Congratulations to all you who are celebrating matrimonial longevity this year. Returning to the original post relating to negative posting I feel that that the whole idea of a forum is (within the boundaries of decency) discussion. With any discussion you will get two sides of a point of view and not everyone will agree. I also wonder what constiutes a negative post? Is it someone at their wits end with the pressure saying that everything is getting too much and that they need help? That is certainly a negative position but is it negative to raise it or positive to acknowledge that help is needed. Is it negative to tell that person that don't worry about it as you are fully protected in an IVA or positive encouragement? Again there will be two trains of thought. From a personal perspective I have been thoroughly inspired and informed by articles and posts on this forum. True I have not always agreed with some comments but expect that some comments raised by myself have equally not been received by all with open acceptance. But on the whole I could not have come this far with out this vital forum of experience and support. Which brings me to raise my earlier post entitled "Going to write a book" still waiting for someone to tell me the nutritional content of grass!!!
