Hi kal and welcome to the forum. I found the forum too late to help with my IVA and like Aguise I was too shy to post at first (yes, I know it's hard to believe now!) but as you say reading other people's experiences really helps.

Good luck for Monday, I'm sure you'll be fine and celebrating on Monday night!

Again, thanks all for your kind replies - especially after that 'other' forum didn't bother (taken off my favourites now, and replaced with this one!!!).
I have been reading round and seen all the success stories, so feeling a bit happier - although one thing did worry me was northern Rock - I have a large unsecured loan we took out with mortgage - this will make up a large percentage of the debt - my IP said they were confident as NR had come back to them and said I had paid well with them etc - so I am hoping and praying they vote yes - if they don't then it won't give much room for others to vote no either.

Hi Kal, Have faith in your IP, They are the experts, and know how to deal with each creditor. I am sure you'll be fine. Please try not to worry... My IVA was accepted in December, and it was the best feeling ever. No more letters, phone calls, the stress just goes over night... Look forward to this feeling, cos its great x

Do you know what makes me laugh, is one of the banks keeps hassling my husband - he has told them time and time what is happening - anyway, today he gets a new debit card through from them!!!!
I know that departments deal with different aspects of the Account - but he had that in one letter, and in another he had the usual threats from them!
Today and yesterday, the house phone has gone eerily quiet - almost like the lull before the storm...or maybe they are just waiting for Monday...like me?

Hi Kal, just thoought I'd say that I Mccambridge Duffy recently proposed an IVA for me which was accepted at 25p in the £. They have been excellent so far, friendly, reassuring and professional. No complaints at all. I wish you luck!

That's good to hear about McCambridge Duffy - you rely on word of mouth etc, so never know how good they are. I agree they are very friendly and helpful.
Also good to know about 25p in the pound - I had read elsewhere that nothing under about 50p is accepted and was starting to panic(again!!!!).
Good luck also to those who have posted and like me are waiting.
4 more sleeps to go!

Just wanted to say hi and welcome to the forum.
Its hard waiting for a result but if your IP is confident then that should give you a bit of comfort.
Best of luck for monday xx

McCambridge Duffy also managed to get my IVA through without a hitch at 26p in the £. They are very thorough.
