There's something about washing blowing on the line that gives me a feel good factor (if you know what I mean)

I can stare washing blowing for ages. I love it, my nosey snout trout neighbour hates it, she says it looks trashy. Tough for her cos I do loads. She seems to have a bee in her bonnet about everything, some call her Mrs Bucket. I just think she has a whole hive up her ass.

It's beautiful here in Liverpool this morning. Extremely windy but nice and sunny, I've just had my brekky in the garden. I think the old factor 30 will be coming out today I hope![8D] Viki X

Blowing a hooley and precipitating in a meaningful and persistant manner here in Portsmouth.... already lost two games of monopoly to my children (can't even seem to hold onto my money in a game!! lol...)

Supposed to be off to erect tent in a field tomorrow... may have a job stopping the pegs floating away and the tent slipping gracefully into the solent methinks....still could save a fortune on the ferry fare if we just float over to the IOW.... wonder if that will qualify me as a sea scout!!

Its very scary here, the wind is so strong, went out with the dog earlier (she couldnt open her eyes)and there are branches on the main road. My garden room is looking shaky too, one of the windows popped out. I hope it calms down soon, those large trees just inside the cememtary are creaking and I am scared they will fall on the house.

Sorry about your window Lily. My cat was very nearly blown over, it's really windy here. We went to the park and there are big branches everywhere. I hope no real serious damage has been done anywhere.

OOOh, living next to a cemetry......how exciting.[:0] Viki X

Well today I'm more positive and just spent 4.45 for three hours in the leisure centre swimming pool with my granddaughter, wave pools, slides, fantastic time!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It backs on to our back garden so we get the full force of the wind. OK, so my washing dries. I have never been scared but its very spooky at night and I wouldnt watch a horror movie, its way too dark out here at night. I wake up to the vast cemetary ever morning, its quite peaceful. There are a row of oak trees just behind our fence (apparently, according to snouty trout, they are protected) They are creaking like mad today in the wind, one of them is twisted and mean looking, I just know it wants to kill me. (if it had a head and hands it would be wearing a ski mask and holding a gun). The gravestones are feet away from the gate.

Sometimes in the summer when the kids are on the trampoline, they jump higher than our fence and say 'hello' to people having a quiet moment on the bench just behind the gate, the poor things nearly die of shock. I mean you would wouldnt you? Sitting there among the gravestones and someone suddenly saying hello?

Anyway I think the tree wants its own back.

Oh Lily, I'm sorry but you don't half make me laugh!!![:D][:I]

Maybe you should call the council if you're really worried, the creaking is just the tree talking to you....I'm sure it's lovely....really! No, seriously, hope you're ok.

I love being spooked, horror films are my favourite![:0]

Well its been standing there for 400 years according to the mighty snouty trout, so I should be fine. If it falls, it falls, I just hope I am not around if it does, doesnt bear thinking about whats attached to its roots........ You see why I am scared of it now??????
