first payment

Can't speak for others - but I was told that my first payment had to be made within 30 days of my Creditors Meeting. I actually sent it off by cheque the very next day as I wanted to get started asap!!! The sooner you start - the sooner you finish!! I am sure you would not have a problem waiting til the 10th. caraf.

I would definitely check that with your I.P. / IVA Company first. I think they will probably say they will need a payment before February (no harm in asking though!!!!). Could you not send them a cheque like I did - it gets you into the swing of paying straight away. My Standing Order took a couple of months to set up and I had no problem sending cheques.
