Has anybody else had trouble in getting a response from them?
I am trying to obtain a answer from them as to whether an error in my tax code which resulted in paying less tax in April should be classed as extra income. This has now been adjusted and I have sent the evidence with a letter at the end of June but they have not responded. On Friday (managed to spoil my weekend)I received one of their lovely letters saying my arrangement is at risk as I have not made this payment. It is difficult for me to speak to them the phone during office hours privately.
I also completed my annual review at the end of June by post and have not heard about that either.
There no personal service from them anymore as I have dealt with so many different case officers.
Sorry for the rant but I feel fed up at the moment.
I too have difficulty ringing during office hours due to confidentiality issues but have manged to email Paylan and get a response within one or two days .It may be worth a try if you haven`t tried it yet .
As I have said before on the forum, I have not had a response to my IE sumitted in February and have not had a response to my queries, I have had a few of their lovely letters to say the arrangement is at risk! Howver they do not respond to my queries. It does seem very onesided and I thought they were working for both us and creditors. I posted a comment here and was contacted bt payplan. However they rang to discuss the arrearsa we had butnot interested in no reponse to IE. They have bookd a call to discuss this but I am afraid too little too late. Seriously not impressed
I have emailed them now but I originally sent a letter as I needed to enclose proof of tax error.(I am not very good at scanning these things)! Surely it is not to much to ask for a reply to a letter within a reasonable time scale.
I agree mab I do not feel they are working for me anymore. They were very good for the first 2 years of my IVA but it has steadily gone downhill. I soon have to try and release some equity and I am dreading how this is going to work out.
I emailed them last week with a question and instead of an e-mail back they rang me to answer the question so was most chuffed.i have never not got through or been waiting for a reply which is why im not sure you cant get through.i know they only work office hours but your emails should be getting there.mab I do my yearly I@e with payplan on the phone and get the answer there and then,so why do you have to do it through the post?.im in the last 3 months and can say with hand on heart I have had no problems whatsoever with anything I need to sort or query with payplan.i cannot see it being there fault if you cant ring during office hours but emailing them should do the trick.are you registerd on payplan plus? you can reach them from there as well.

ps the equity bit is down to you.you have to get a valuation on the house and a redemption figure from your mortgage provider and send copys into payplan at month 54.they don't do it for you.just done mine and was told no equity to find 3 days after sending them in.

Hi. I can't speak to them re IE as can't take personal calls at work and work 8.30 to 5.30 everyday, even when I have spoken to them over lunch time it costs so much money on a mobile phone, the last call cost 8 pound and we just don't have that spare money for the bill. We do will be doing the equity releasew next year, absolutely dreading it, feel sick of the thought of an extra year living like this! Hopefully from my calculations we will have no equity to release and will complete
Yeah, I think I do thanks! House work approx 115k, is desperate state or repair, and mortgage at current time is 112k so by this time next yeat will b a little lower but still don't think we will have the 5k each to release, fingers cross, paying 700 a month is hard enough! Thanks for your support
if its a protocol iva then you will have the 85%ltv as well.
house value=115000 which with the 85%ltv means £97,750.
less the mortgage £112,000 = £14250 in negative equity.
so you are miles under having to do another year or have to release equity because you got non.then you got the £5,000 deminus each so don't worry you should finnish at 60 months.[:D]

Thank you with your offer of help. I have spoken to Payplan on the phone but this matter is still not resolved. If I do not hear anything by the end of next week I will be in touch.
