Is it possible to clean up your credit report before the completion certificate is received? I have a few defaults that are a few months after the start of my iva, it is unlikely that I will receive by certificate before the 6 year date, can i get these defaults corrected or do i need my certificate to do this. Also do the other defaults drop off after 6 yearz, or not until the debt is satisfied, ie certificate received. I know until the iva is off my credit is shot, but I thought if I could get the rest sorted it might speed things up when I do get my certificate.

I have 3 defaults left on my credit file, 2 defaulted before my iva commenced and will reach 6 years and drop off before my iva does in September however 1 is currently dated after then.
I have written to the creditor asking them to amend the default date.
I think its worth writing to your creditors now to get the date amended.
