					Hi Robson,
I gather that you only have £20 to last two weeks? You should not be struggling with your IVA at all, especially so early on. I also take it that you have tried to change the date of your DD to the beginning of the month.
Try sending an email to Declan who does post on here - his details can be found under the 'Ask a Question' link on the left hand side of the page. He may be able to help you.

Hi robson - we too are with DFD and were in a similar position at the beginning of our IVA. Following advice on this forum, we looked on the BeatMyDebt website to see what allowances could be claimed and contacted DFD and several allowances were weren't initially given (i.e. school lunches) were added in. Once we got our allowances sorted properly things were a lot easier.
Our current issues are mainly work related and not ours or DFDs fault, but we are still have issues resolving them.
As Niobe says, try contacting Declan - he has been very helpful to us in the past
Good luck

					morning robson2372
im just coming out of the other end with DFD after 6 years and was in a similar position to where you are now a few years ago
I would echo what the other posters have said and contact DFD; I left it a little late but they turned out to be superb, they ar likley to review your I&E and as Eandom ,lady said, check the Beatmydebt website; ive never heard of it but it sounds superb
I know DFD aren't as easy to get hold of as they used to be, but despite the closure delays being encountered by myself and others currently, I really feel i cant slag them off re this as they where so good to me when I hit major problems with my IVA circa 4 or 5 yrs ago. They arranged a variation meeting and had my payments reduced; granted i had a 12 montsh extension, but I got there in the end.
Good luck and remember to let us know what they say, but check the above mentioned website to see if there are any allowances you maybe havnt claimed for in your I&E

It was a bit of an eye opener...have a look!!

Hi Robson, hope you have either managed to sort something out or have been successful in getting hold of DFD, if you haven't try a three prong approach, i would email their customerservices and attempt to phone them, i got through to them the other week but did have to wait a little while but that is better than being cut off by that blasted automated women when you have held on for several minutes! I would also email Declan, however i haven't seen him posting recently so he is either extremely busy (very understandable) or away on his hols. Good luck and i hope you can get something sorted soon, you shouldn't have to struggle like this, good luck.
