Is there a reason you didn't choose BR? Have your circumstances changed since the IVA was agreed or were the figures wrong from the start?

Like the others have said, speak to your IP. They will be able to advise you on your options x

Hi and welcome Robson, i echo what others have said, approach your IP and see if you can resubmit an I+E and put down everthing you spend etc, it is early days and i know that when i first started i was really worried that my weekly amount wouldn't last me so did find ways to make it last, ie visit the whoops bar in the supermarkets. It will get better, remember prior to your IVA you probably had your plastic enemy to rely on. I too have received a Vanquis application, they must be trolling the insolvancy register and looking to see who is nearing their IVA, not a chance and certainly not at 49.5% interest! Good luck Robson, take care and be safe. x
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

Hi Robson,

Sorry to hear about your struggle, I exho what others have said, take a look at your income and expenditure and see what is adrift.

Even if it meant going back for a variation meeting you shouldn't have to struggle and an IVA isn't supposed to be a punishment.

May I make a suggestion - google Foodbank and see if there is any near you. It is an organisation I volunteer for and I am sure you could get a crisis box which is supposed to last 3 days. If you are canny you can make it last a week (in my opinion). All you need to do is discuss your struggle with an authorised signatory and they will give you a box of food and any toiletries you may need.

Please don't feel too proud to approach them. I have seen a lot of people in tears asking for a box and in this recession no-one should be ashamed to ask for help.

Robson sorry to hear you are struggle it is hard to get adjusted when you start your IVA it does take about 6 months to find your feet. It is tempting when credit offers come though the door but even if you did get approved your IVA would be at risk and it would be another bill to pay back. Speak to IP and go over your I&E to make sure everything is accounted for. Please don't give up it will become easiler
