Cars are an absolute nightmare. Problems at Christmas and now again..Had the rear exhaust changed on Saturday to then discover that I need brake disks and pads...we will try to get those done as soon as we can. However I've just changed jobs (only been there one day!)and with different pay days the next couple of months are going to be tough as it is. It seems that no sooner do you deal with one car problem than another rears its ugly head. Just wish I didn't need a car for the long commute to work as that adds extra stress. I agree totally with you lem and lyns!

Cars are a major pain in the...err...neck [:)]. Not a day goes by when I don't worry about mine!

Mine has got to be serviced and MOT'd in August and as it's now 7 years old I'm convinced something will go wrong!

Next month for me, MOT due in August but I always go a month early.

It's 9 years old now and to date owes us nothing but I do know there will come a time.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Clutch went on ours the other week, and last week we needed a new drive shaft. Lucky for us hubby can do most things on the car although it took him 2 days to do the clutch.Just trying to keep ours going till we finnish the IVA then we can SAVE for a newer one.

It is handy Carole if you have someone that can. My son in law does bits for me and he'll do my pre-MOT to check it should be ok, but it still has me nervous while it's in the garage. x
