Know what you mean Kev. It still seems strange having a credit balance in the bank account but I'm getting to like it!

Totally agree with all the comments. I've dipped in and out of this forum since Nov 2006 and have learnt so much by reading peoples posts. There is always someone who has had the same issues as you during your IVA (been there, done it and got the t-shirt)and just reading their posts helps and informs you on how to deal with your current situation. With me, I live alone and never told a single person about my IVA, it has been a god send to have somewhere to go to to get help and advise. My only regret is being too insular and not posting more during my IVA, I have gleened so much advice from this site but not given much advice back, hopefully I can start to do this more often. It is really strange, now that I have finished my IVA I am becoming addicted to this site and log on daily.

Big big thanks to all those that run this site, the experts and the IVA-ers (pre, current and post). Without you all this site would not be the success it is! xxxx

I am loving this positive thread. I am 21 months post IVA but stick around to remind myself how fortunate I am and that if I revert back to old habits it will be extremely painful. I am full of admiration for the way posters overcome their struggles and hard times...

Totally agree with you all. I really don't know where I'd have been without it these past few months. I just hope my meagre contribution can be of help to others. x

No contribution is "meagre" GilliB (except, maybe, a few of mine [:p] ).

It all helps others in, or thinking of, IVA's --- even "daft" questions, as you can bet there are always others wanting to know the same thing, but afraid to ask.

i really enjoy this site,i use it every day,its my friend its my enemy,i sometimes love reading the posts, other times i wanna smash my pc screen up,shouting you idiots,i cant believe some of the money people owe like up to £250,000,then sometimes people post with a small amount of debt they are worried about,i like to post sometimes and have a good rant and rave, other times my heads streaming with rage that i wont post for fear of being banned from here, sometimes i feel really down about what i owe, other times i dont give a dam, above all i find the forum most pleasent and carming and try to imagine the faces of the posters on here, whats strange is the most stangest question usually gets answered very soon ,and the simplest takes a few days,

Interesting range of emotions and reactions there, Terry, and so true !!

But, yes, this forum is a lifesaver and a pressure valve for so many who have no-one else to talk to who would understand the situation "from the inside".

I agree with all the posts above. I ask my questions on here and then the IP and most of the time there both correct :)

I only recently found this forum and to me it has been a life saver. Wish I had found it before I entered into my IVA but a huge thanks to all the experts and contributors for their wonderful advice. Now log in at least once a day.

I discovered the forum about two and a half years ago, and the help, support and advice I received through those very stressful pre-IVA / proposal drafting days was crucial to me, I had many an episode of fear and angst allayed by the knowledgable ever helpful forum contributers and experts, and those experts give their forum time and advice for free on here remember.

Through the forum I found my IP / IVA provider, knowledge, hope and a way out of my self made debt misery.

My only regret is that I didn`t find the forum much sooner than I did.
