I like it Lesley!

I remember typing a warrant for court years ago and I had the police officer standing over me telling me to hurry up. I was so nervous that when I finished instead of reading 'drove a car on a road with no insurance' the warrant read 'drove a cat on a toad with no insurance.

This was in the days of manual typewriters so he had to wait for me to type the whole thing again!

Lol @ Skippy.

My worst one I can think of was in another job when I had to update the telephone list for the factory noticeboard....Dick Cuthbert became Sick Cuthbert and of course I didn't notice...factory floor workers certainly did and I didn't live that down for a fair while!

Having said that, if we're marking at work and something is borderline we request for it to be IV'd (internally verified) before we submit it to examining board....how many times have I written request to be IVA and not request to be IV'd....I've always noticed and written another cover sheet out but I'm sure one of these times I'll not notice!
