Thought I'd share my experience tonight. Lying in the bath tonight when back went into spasm. Then I remembered OH was in the garden. An hour and 10 mins later he comes to my rescue!! Not a good finish to the weekend. Think it's been too much doing 2 car boots. Still I made £125 so I suppose in a way it's worth it. Now....where's my diazepam??

Great amount to make at the car boots but your back, oh you poor thing, next time take your mobile with you and leave it out of the way of the water but where you're able to reach for it (gently). Or set up a bell system, be careful you're not alone x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Just seen that on FB kazza! I do feel for you as I have problems with my back sometimes. I do agree with Lesley that you should perhaps have your mobile within reach just in case.

Our bath is pretty much redundant these days - we all take showers!

Yeah - I'm normally ok as we have those handles fitted to push myself up but for some reason it has crippled me when I am sitting. Lying and standing are fine!! We have a set of walkie talkies somewhere so they may be charged tomorrow!!

I hope you're feeling better today Kazza.

You have my full sympathy as I've got problems with my back and it goes for no reason - I think someone has got a voodoo doll of me and sticks pins in it now and then!

I opened my purse in Homebase the other day and all my loose change fell out on the floor-I had to ask the assistant to pick it up for me.
So embarrassing, the looks I was getting from the queue behind me!!!
Once upon a time people would rally round and help you pick it up-not any more.
Everyday things we take for granted can become massive hurdles and if you appear fit and healthy, which I do thanks to my very considerate doctor, you look like you are being lazy when you cant physically do things!!!
Luckily I have lost a fair bit of weight recently and appear in proportion,so at least know one can call me slow from being tubby!!!

I am used to it now,but if you havent got an obvious disability it can be very frustrating!!!!
I used to get annoyed with people holding up queues but now know how it feels to have to slow down, there are a lot of impatient people out there and sometimes we need to stand back and realise looks can be deceiving!!!!
We arent all as fit as we appear to be,im about as supple as a pencil!!!

I know how you feel! My hubby does not look as though there is anything wrong with him but he has ischaemic heart disease, unstable angina, COPD and has had two heart bypass operations. We have a blue badge as he isn't always up to walking a long way but I'm sure people look at us when we park in the disabled bays wondering why we have a badge!

The number of times I have waved my badge at the biddies in Tesco car park as I park in a disabled space. They then watch me get my stick or crutch out. I have asked a few if they are ok and they normally scuttle off pretty quick. I'm sure there are people that abuse the system but I'm not one of them.

Oh no you poor thing, I do agree that people tend to look at you as though you are faking...hubby has both crutches but of course its only when he gets out of car that you see that.
