If I had to do it again, God forbid, I would choose a company which did not charge a upfront fee to introduce me to an IP. I ended up making 2 additional payments to them before the IVA even started. Knowing what I know now I could have cut them out the loop and gone to an IP direct.
There are some excellent IP's on here, do some research cause you will be stuck with them for the duration of your IVA if that's what you choose. An IP should be able to give you advice on what solution is best for you and your circumstances. I was lucky to have been with a good company who are not posting on this forum.

Janed, I hope you are managing to sort something out. The forum is always here to support and advise you. We've all been where you are now.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

I have done some research and the same name kept getting good reviews so I have chosen a company who I think will look after me, its hard to know at this stage. This morning they collected all the paperwork so the ball is now rolling, I am trying to keep positive but dying inside. I know I'm at my darkest now but sure it will get better.
thankyou for so much support, its nice to know you are there.
