As of 1st June BR costs £700 per person. There is a reduction if you are on certain benefits but I'm not sure what that is.

I think it is still only the court fees you can get a reduction on but there are only certain benefits which are included and I don't know what they are.

Hi Benson welcome to the forum, did you not question this in Jan 2010 when you received it. Can you get back in touch with the company and ask for an explanation

I also think it is just the court fees you can get a remission on if you are claiming either Income support, Income based JSA, Pension credit guarantee income based ESA and Working tax credit on its own(no child tax credit)

Hi Pandy, yes we questioned this failed IVA in Jan 2010 and was told not to bother them and read the paperwork. So what do you think this means.

Reason for Failure; At a meeting of creditors held on -----2009, creditors resolved that I should distribute all funds being held and cease to act.

Our IP advised against bankruptcy and then did this. We are now back to square one................

Hi Benson, I would contact your IP again and ask for a written, detailed, explanation. At the same time ask them for details of their regulators in the even that you might wish to lodge a complaint. Hopefully the latter question will make them prick up their ears and act.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
