I'm afraid the Euromillions is ours tonight kazza!

Whilst I wished that I had never run up the amount of debt that I did, they can't take away the memories of my holidays!

They could have been more helpful when we all asked for help though.

To be honest I'd welcome enough to clear my debts! Just to owe nothing would do it for me!

Temptation is a funny thing! Your 100% right Kallis nobody made us borrow the money or use the new credit limits made avaliable every six months.

A lot of the time people are using credit cards to just live off, buying the basic things like food and petrol. Not because they have been buying rolex watches, and 2 weeks in florida, is that right?

You have to ask yourself why everything is just so much money? I know most of our debt has mounted up from having lost a job and doing another one with such low pay. Once your into the struggling cycle its so b***** hard to get out of it.Sometimes you just dont know what road to take when your struggling with all the bills, but when somebody keeps asking you if you need another couple of thousand to help at the time it seems easy to say yes.

Would everybody who,s in their IVA now have credit cards if they could? i dont think so.

Been there and done it several times - including the Rolex!

My credit was built up through wanting everything now rather than waiting. I'm fortunate that I've never been out of work - I just like spending.

I think that a lot of people will take out a new credit card once finished - you only have to look at posters on here who take out the Vanquis one to start rebuilding their rating.

As long as you repay it straight away there will be no problem and I think the vast majority of us are once bitten, twice shy.

I don't do Euromillions but I do the normal lottery - I'll settle for enough to pay the mortgage and pay for the wedding next year!

I've got a Vanquis card and I'm using it to build my credit rating. I spend on it every month, but it's always paid off in full - I have a direct debit set up for the full amount. I actually like seeing the payment go out each month and knowing it's cleared!

We only do the Euromillions when there is a good rollover.

Skip - if we win tonight, not only will I pay for your wedding at any location you want but I'll pay for your honeymoon as well!

I agree that a credit card, if used wisely, is a good thing post IVA or BR!

Kallis, did your IP allow you to keep the Rolex or did you have to sell it to better the dividend to your creditors when entering your IVA?

No, I still have it and as it's over 20 years old now it's not worth a lot!

It was one of the 'cheaper' ones I hasten to add.
