Julie hope your daughter is ok, do let us know.

Happy Mothers Day to all.

I, unfortunately haven't been well today, not physically just in a feeling sorry for myself mood, been here all week so time for the St Johns Wort to come out I'm thinking!

I've finally managed to move and have a bath. I must text all my children a thank you for their presents and cards as I've only just opened them.

Thinking of you Julie. x

Sorry you're feeling a bit off Lesley, hope you feel better soon.

I've been quite happy with just the cards.

Thank you all so much - even though I don't know any of you personally I always feel like I am amongst friends (I do have friends but none of them know about our iva).

Lesley - I hope you feel better soon x

Thank you Julie, I do get these moods of doom, I call them my feeling sorry for myself days and then in a couple of days I'll be perked up again.

We are all friends here and none of my close friends know of my IVA either so it's nice to have somewhere to go where you can be yourself.

How is your daughter? x

Yesterday was a great day - lovely lunch, three nice cards (and I do love it when the stepkids send me cards like that) rounded off with a takeaway last night.

Julie and Lesley - hope things are better today.

Well after buying my own cards from the boys & then hiding them in there rooms n telling them daddy bought them!
My youngest was desperate to get me flowers, I was trying to avoid it as its been one of those frugal weeks! Well he would not stop going on about it from saturday night to sunday lunchtime. So I had to take him to aldis, help him pick a bunch (because he kept going for the 9.99 ones) then take him home & go sit in the living room & close my eyes & act surprised!
This will hopefully teach the hubby for next year, he's only had 8 years of practice so far!!! But has been working very hard & long hours, so I cant really moan to much!

Thanks all, I'm feeling more positive today, I really don't know what comes over me, finished my first shift in my new job, it was the opening today with the important people and local MP etc., so nothing like a real day in college, we don't officially start teaching there until May so see what tomorrow brings. x

Good to hear Lesley hun, My posting "having a blue day" is one where I look back & think what did come over me?
Its great to be able to shout out on the forum n moan n rant & find others that go through similar things.

Im positive you will win them over no questions asked! in your new role. Im very much for taking one day at a time at the moment. xxxx
