My husband and I will hopefully be starting an IVA on Aug 24th if all goes well???? The reason for our IVA is me having to leave my job due to our daughters recently diagnosed medical condition. If I were to return to work in the future, would all of this be paid to the IVA?

Hi there
They would reassess your income and expenditure taking into account any rises incurred due to working ,travelling etc, yes your payment would increase but not necessarily by all of it. Are you both having an iva ?

Hi.
I think the best way to deal with it at times is toi make a joke, my hubby still acts dissapointed when there is no post and takes great jopy in returning junk offers of loans and credit cards.
Some will depend on what is in your proposal if it states as mine 50% of any rises in basic income then you may get to keep half BUT a lot state all of payrises so then it would be all of it minus any extra travel or work related costs. We have a joint proposal and it is working very well.

My sympathy to you for the little ones problem, my neice had a similar thing ewhere she stopped breathing when shocked or hurt and just used to go blue and collapse , luckily she grew out of it.

All the best to you. Please do wait for other answers as I am only in the same position as you, but if I have any of it wrong someone will correct me .

If you do return to work, your IP will want to review your entire income and expenditure with you and reassess payments. Don't forget that expenditure increases as well as income when you are working.
