I dont know at this stage as havent petitioned yet, just filling in the forms. But I have approx 30K equity minus selling costs so I know I will need to come to some arrangement or lose the house

I think I will just have to wait and see what the trustee wants then I will be in a position to act but know there is a chance I will lose it

Thanks

Pippa

I am lucky not to have had a Nortern rock card or loan.

I am really concerned by the attitude of NR.

And contributing to the misery of debtors.

As I understand according to Banking code they are supposed to help people in debts.

Has any one thought about complaining to Banking ombudsman?

hara.

NR will say they help by providing advice and that the debtor should not have allowed themselves to get into debt, which in the current financial world is very difficult to do anyway.

Hi there

Well I thought I would ring NR today and see if I could get any feed back from them as to why they rejected my IVA proposal out right.
I dont have a together product with them and have had my loan long enough that they would have got a little more than the original loan amount back.

Something tells me they dont want to speak to me [:0], first they kept me hanging on while they tried to transfer me, then I was cut off [:(!], so I called straight back and they kept me hanging on again, only to come back and tell me no one was available. They didnt ask me why I was calling, or if I could be called back, nothing, infact the person on the other end seemed a little jumpy as if I had caught her on the hop.

Dont want to get into a long drawn out conversation with them, just wanted to ask if they had any feedback, nothing more.

All my other creditors have been very understanding and are only calling me on agreed dates, some have postponed for 4 weeks, however NR have not rung me once.

Just thought I would let you know

Pippa
