thanks for the kind comments.I know you're both right in principle it's the practice that's difficult.I'd be mortified if people at work, nieghbours etc knew this very private thing.Cat

hi cat i feel like that aswell a lot specially as im newly accepted.

i think sometimes this stuff can make us feel more vunerable and i know myself im a bit paranoid and imagine stuff in my head. i would just carry on the way youre going and hold your head very high. you are doing something very positive to sort yourself out and not just hiding away hoping it will go away and then in a matter of years your debt will be resolved but i can totally get how youre feeling.

whenever i cant cope which is a lot lately[:D]

and within five minutes these guys get me feeling right again

this isnt just some debt thingy where you get questions and answers its a collective of lovely supportive friendly people who have helped me no end. you know you are doing good hun and we are always here if you need us.

have lovely day FD X[:)]

Cat, if you now have the name of your new IP, drop him/her an email direct and explain your worries.
DFD are a little poor when it comes to communication and you will NEVER get to speak with your IP on the phone.
It probably wont even be your IP that recieves your email but it will be answered and its usually by somebody who knows what they are talking about.

Good luck with getting this sorted out Cat, and please don't feel that you are a second class citizen. You can be proud of yourself for facing up to your debt problems and doing something about them x

Thanks you lot. You're wonderful! Really supportive. I've just emailed my IP using Skippys link and I've forwarded all the information I have submitted to DFD since Aug 08.Hopefully I will now hear something.Trouble is if they start backdating stuff like they did on someone else who posts here I'll be all stuck again.Communication is so important isn't it? Thanks again.Cat

I emailed my IP from the link provided.I got a prompt and curtious reply. He has asked my case gets looked into from the right department.I therefore feel heard at least.Remains to be seen how long this takes but at least it's a start.I've only been waiting 5.5 months!

That's good news Cat. Hopefully it won't be too long till it's sorted.
