Hi Marie and Welcome to the Forum,

I’m sure you'll find this forum useful. As already stated by Sue and Kerri it’s also a good place to gain knowledge as well as rant and rave, you’re in a safe place.

From the many cases I have seen the creditors you mentioned have not posed as problems when accepting IVA's. The creditors that are causing problems at the moment are HSBC/First Direct, Northern Rock, Blackhorse, Liverpool Victoria and MBNA.

In saying that each IVA proposal is just as its name states Individual, so each case is different.

Best Regards. IVA Experts

All of those creditors have a good track record of accepting IVAs.

You should be fine Marie.

I have not experienced any problems with your mentioned creditors.

However just wanted to clarify whether your council tax arrears is for the property that you are currently living in? or is it for a property you are no longer living in?

I know it was the most stressful 6weeks of my life but all worth it now, keep thinkin to my self all things can do in 57 months time when will have so much extra cash, by the way have you changed your bank account if you owe your bank money that was the first thing i did while my credit rating was ok.

Hi g.g.r
Do you mean what kind of info do they need for you to open a basic account ??
they sent me a guide booklet,it syas that you can open an account with a poor credit history, the do the usual credit check, but it will be declined if you are in undischarged bankrupt or have a history of fraud. With this basic account you cant have overdrafts loans.....(like we want any more debt eh!!!)cheque book, credit interest....another downside is that you can only use cash machines that belong to lloyds tsb.....but i dont mind this They just need the usual stuff ID proof of address etc...wage slips..........i hope this helps
