No telly been rubbish. We have been entertained by the local riff raff!! We live near a park andthe council in their wisdom have decided to put a fair ground on it for the weekend. Now ll the little kiddie winkles have decided to shout and fight!

Today we went to the Chill Factor another Peel Holdings production!!! It looks fab. We didn't ski or snowboard but wedid grab a cheapie lunch. I had a lovely time.

Tomorrow, no time for lying down. We are clearing out the garage and then straightening the garden etc. I love it when everything is straight and neat.

I have posted on the other thread re Frugal Friends [:D]

How was your day?

I've just seen the FF thread....I really hope you DO come. That would be fab![:o)][:D] Wow, maybe we can pursuade animaleyes and Barb to travel too! Looking forward to it.

Is the chill factor that thing by the Trafford Centre? if it is I've always wanted to go. Can you ice skate in there? I haven't skated for years and want to go.

Sounds like you've had a fun day, I'm glad, you needed some time out. I know you're up the wall at the mo.

Another quiet day here, no news, nothing happening. Won't hear anything now until next week so another weekend gone....can't really plan anything until we know.

Where are the pics?!!!!! come on I want to see.

I'm the complete opposite when it comes to people taking pictures of me, I love it! I always do the Liz Hurley, shoulders back, leg out, chin down!!!!! I DO get skitted for it! I'm not vain and the photos are awful but I do try!

What you up to tomorrow? X

Must be horrile being in limbo, at least we sort of know what is happening.

Yes the chill factor is near the trafford centre. It is strange inside it wasn't quite as big as what I thought. All the snow look great though and they have a bit flume type slide thing (tubing). I'm well having me a go on that!!! It looks great. [:D][:D]

They don't have an ice skating pat though which surprised me but I sort of remember some kind of dispute with Altrincham (who had and ice rink years ago) and peel holdings. Alti wanted to re build their rink and peel were going to put one in their chill factor. Peel Holdings own virtually all of Trafford and I think they relanted re the rink to keep the council on side. Peel hold quite a lot ofpower round here - it's a scaled down version of Disney but not quite spectacular lol [:D][:D] They are even talking of putting water taxi on the Manchester Sip Canal [:D] I'd like to see that!

Tomorrow is a tidy everything up day. I really need to clean the door step - again. I have got house martinings nesting above the front door they are good to watch as the sun goes down but ou have to sort of run and jump off the step so you don't get shatt on!! XX

What are you up to?? X

[:D][:D][:D]

Can't believe they don't have an ice rink, they closed Altrincham down aswell! The nearest one is Deeside I think. Used to be one here, went every week as a kid. That got shut down too! [:(]

Chef is off tomorrow so it's little old me cheffing all on my own as we are really short staffed. It's funny, I never cook at home cos I can't, but I can cook everything off the menu, no problem! I suppose we could eat tapas every day forever![:p]

I'm getting kicked off but will be on the ipod in bed. I'll email you tomorrow before I head off to work. lv lots, XXXXXXXXXXXXX

I'm off to bed now too!

I need to be up early.

Look after yourself tomorrow in work.

I'm sure I will regret starting to clean!

Night night XX

I wish I could move the nest along abit. My friend over the road had 2 nests last year and somebody came whilst she was out and move the nest - we think her neighbour instigated it [:(!]

They will come back Angela in a few years they sort of move in cycles - according to my neighbour - he's 88 and said they have had them on and off for years.

Ours to have had a few sets of babies over the year there are some there now and in you stand at the gate then you can see their little beaks popping out of the nest waiting for food - really cute. X
