Hi! i ve just been over a year in my iva, 4 defaults on my credit file but never missed mortgage payments in 4 yrs.. and i want to make a full an final offer... i've asked my ip who originally said it'll be 30k, but i've found out 1 of my creditors has put a 22k charge on my flat so the iva f&f amount is 20k so i need to remortgage 95k (current mortgage is 51k with 2k+ repayment charge) on my flat that worth 120k. can anyone recommended a broker to give me a good deal (hopefully with free legals, valuation if possible)

If your IP says £30k is needed, are you sure that £20k is going to provide a sensible offer to your creditors? And with regard to the charge, was this put on after your IVA was accepted by creditors? If so it is invalid.

initially i was quoted 30k f&f with because i have a charge with a creditor who was meant to be part of iva who isn't in it. f&f is 20k. charge was on before iva started. i thot it was removed when iva commenced but it wasn't

Thanks for your kind wishes Spen.

In common with most scuba divers, I have stripey arms and stripey legs where my wet suit and boots do not meet!
