Hi All!

My IVA meeting is planned in for tomorrow 10.45am - scheduled to last 15mins...

I received a call today from Clearstart advising they had received all votes back form my 3 creditors: Halifax, Capital One & AMEX.

AMEX hold more than 75% of my debt.

Went though a 12mins conversation to find my IVA has been APPROVED!!!

Can't believe this has all been sorted! Looking forward to setting up my standing order to Clearstart to get this all rolling!

Good luck to anyone out there, starting IVA's, awaiting documents, awaiting meetings etc! We will all get there in the end, and once the IVA has been approved you will be feeling as happy as I am right now and its fab! No more worrying, no more bills, phone calls, e-mails... etc!

Good luck to everyone, Thank you to all on the forum for your words of support, as well as all the brill information!!

I will no doubt still be reading this forum daily once my IVA is up and running!

Natalie xxxx [8D]

Wow! Didn't realise you could find out a day earlier but will stop that sleepless night the night before! Well done and congratulations, I'm still on a high! Good luck for the future.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It is dangerous to confirm the outcome of meetings prior to the event. I speak from bitter experience in a case where we had votes from all creditors, advised the debtor the IVA was accepted and five minutes before the meeting one of the major creditors changed their mind and rejected. We had to adjourn and did eventually get the case through by outvoting the rejection, but this was very stressful for all concerned and lessons were learned.

Sorry Natalie - don't mean to steal your thunder or make you worried about tomorrow - it is unlikely that this would happen, but just wanted to make it clear why most IPs would prefer to wait until the hour has passed before confirming.

Mine confirmed they had votes but as Melanie said would not confirm whether it was enough for a yes. All I got was that it was looking promising, a hint you would call it.
As said doubtful there will be any change.
