Hi Michael - you are doing the right thing by giving yourself another chance - an IVA rejection is often not about the client's circumstances but about how it is presented and the detail and quality of the proposal. There have been a number of success stories where a proposal has been rejected with one company and accepted with another, including problems with gambling. No-one can guarantee a positive outcome but you owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance if an IVA is what you want to do. You seem to have broken the gambling habit or at least put a stop to it before it took hold so well done on that front too. Its a nasty trap to get into that is very hard to break when the only answer to gambling problems seems to be to gamble some more. At least this way your money will be put to good use rather than disappearing before your eyes. Good luck.

I echo the above ... chat to Mel and her team. I am sure they will be able to help -- or at least try their best. You will get honest, down to earth advice there.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
