Hi
I'm also with DFD, you can email the Supervisory department on supervisory@debtfreedirect.co.uk and you can get directly through to that department on 0845 2960 150. I have found both of these ways much quicker and you actually get to speak with your caseworker.

Good luck

HI Lottie

That's great! Thank you. I have sent my supervisor an email and forwarded it to the email address you gave me. Did you find you had a much quicker response?

Well, sort of. I gave them 24 hours from the email to ring me back and as they didn't I rang them on the number I gave you. They had the email on the system and then my case worker rang me back in the next hour so it certainly hurried things up a bit. It's better than waiting for Royal mail and then them saying they haven't received it.

Hi to IVA professioanls,

Still seek ing advice about the above topic. It has now been nearly 20 days since I have written 3 letters with enclosures requested and 2 emails with documents attached later. I have still heard nothing back about my proposal from my IVA company. I really don't know what to do as I am worrying so much about what's going to happen.
My mum has kindly offered to pay for solicitor's advice - would you advise this or should I wait.....

Please advise....Thank you

Send your IP another e-mail telling him that unless he responds to you within the next 7 days you will be reporting him/her to his/her regulatory body. I am sure that this will get the response you are looking for.

Hi Melanie,

Thank you for the advice. What happens if I don't recieve a response and paper work (hopefully) containing the propsal for creditors? I am getting so stressed with waiting, that I am considering bankruptcy very seriously. I am sure that the offer would be more beneficial to the creditors than bankruptcy??

Finally, I have spoken to my supervisory department about selling my house and paying back around the same, if not more money to the creditos once sold, as I am now cliaming jobseekers allowance and unable to work indefinately.

They have said that there is a very good chance of this proposal being accepted as the creditors should receive the original figure at least as my mother is having my house completely refurbished to acheive the highest amount possible. My house has only been on the market for 1 week and my questions are; If the house takes longer than expected to sell, wil the creditors still wait? I have explained I am only just making mortgage payments with JSA and help from my mother and so they said they would even accept £10.00 contribution (originally paying £576 pm)

Please advise

Thank you

Hi
I am sure that your creditors will wait until you sell.In an IVA the creditors get the bulk of their money towards the end of the IVA so it will make very little difference to them.Keep in communiction with your IP regarding your house sale and just pay the £10 as instructed.
