Just been to the stockbroker upstairs and they have bought thousands of NR shares today – just invested in a couple (put my money where my mouth is…)

Well...price they are today can't say I blame you - you thought they were good value last night! Worth a punt anyway, NR will probably either get taken over tor things will calm down and the value raise..good luck with them (I wish I had a few quid myself to invest) and like the new logo :-)

WhenInAHole - Well I thought what the hell, why not, if I can make a couple of quid off of NR back in their misery all the better. They have been doing it to other people for years...

Let's hope so jpg. Last night I didn't think they would get taken over even with all the media hype, however, after the way people reacted today withdrawing savings, thereby reducing the companies ability to self fund even further and with their knocking on the stock market. Well, who knows... (still bet, it won't be any American investor)

Evidently at one NR branch the bank staff walked along the people lining up outside asking if anyone was paying money in.... The whole line of customers laughed the cashier back into the bank...Priceless!!

I hope Barclays buy it..now their other buyout is looking iffy!

I must admit, i giggled when i saw on the news that a man in his 60's barricaded his brach manager in her own office because she refused to let him withdraw a million pound.

NR Share price this morning 300.25p.

The market opened with NR shares in a strange state where you could buy them for lower than you could sell them. buy price went down to 298p sell price stayed at 300p.
