Hi, This is my first post since we had our IVA approved.
My husband is a Sole Trader in a small business specialising in Painting & Decorating and Building Maintenance. We are up against our first hurdle since having our IVA accepted in December. The tradesmans insuance/Public liability Ins is up for renewal next week and on reading the Statement of Facts it says: Neither you, nor Your directors nor your Partners are subject to bankruptcy or insolvency orders which are either outstanding or have been discharged for less than 5 years.
Does anyone know of any Companies/Brokers who will insure him?? Surely there must be someone? He has never had a claim and I read on an older post that we are now more of a risk due to the IVA.
thanking you in advance for having a peek for me.

Hi and welcome.

It is a pain that we get penalised for doing something about our debts!

Try the AA, one of our posters managed to get some via them last year.
