All Done!!! Well apart from PPI.....

Hi Everyone,

Well finally after 6 years and 3 months we are all finished paying our IVA to DFD! Yippee!!
It has all been quite straight forward with a couple of hiccups along the way due to needing another car and paying extra in lieu of equity.
We've had our final statement which shows we've paid back 90% (they agreed on 64%) but I'm sure they'll get more due to outstanding PPI.
We've set up some more savings accounts getting ready to start reaping the rewards of our hard-earned cash.

Hang on in there people as this feeling of being debt-free is worth it in the end! Yes there's been tears and tantrums along the way and the wish for it all to hurry up but I would say it's probably the last month which has dragged.

Me and hubby have kept a bottle of bubbly (from his birthday a few years back) which we said we'd keep and open as a small celebration when we finished. Probably taste disgusting but who cares!

Here's to cancelling that standing order. [:D]
