Good morning all ... bright and sunny here but with a bit of a nip in the air ... bit like autumn really. Tis the weekend and time to kick back and chill as they say in down town Driffield. Here's this mornings little jokette ....

One night Mrs Wizz went carol singing.

She knocked on the door of a house and began to sing. A man with a violin in his hand came to the door

Within half a minute tears were streaming down his face! Mrs Wizz went on singing for half an hour, every carol she knew - and some she didn't.

As last she stopped.

'Aah knaa how ya feeling, pet,' she said softly. 'Yer rememberin aall yer happy childhood Christmas's. Yer a real sentimentalist!'

'No,' he snivelled. 'I'm a musician!'
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

lovely autumn day here..sunshining and a wee nip in the air...going into garen soon to sort it all out..sweep leaves and put away all the garden furniture...that we hardly used at all as we had no summer really....have a good day everyone
