Hi everyone,

Im new to this so please be gentle with me...

My IVA come's to an end feb next year and i cant wait. As ive found it quite hard over the past few years, many a tear has been shed when i thought about how much i owed(47k) and how ashamed i felt, and didnt think i could talk to anyone about it.

Im just thinking has anyone else got to this point and thought they should be really excited, but you feel like it's taking forever and the end is still a million miles away??? Believe it or not im finding it harder now to try and stay within my budget than at the beginning!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Well done on getting so close to the end.

Hang in there with the budgeting!

We have 6 payments left and I constantly feel afraid that my ip will find some reason to extend things!!

As for money being tighter now I think thats more to do with constant price rises in recent years that any budgetting you do.

Well done for getting so far.

HI welcome to the forum and some days it can seem a million miles to completion and others I look back and wonder where the time has gone. You're almost there hang in there and never feel ashamed you've done your best to repay your creditors the best amount possible.

Well done x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Paul you've said exactly what keep's going through my mind, that somehow what if the ip find a reason to extend my iva i would be gutted.. I have my last review in September and cant wait for it to be over..

Thanks Lesley.. I know i shouldn't feel ashamed and i know ive done my best to pay as much in contributions as i can. Im sure when february come's round it'll be the biggest relief ever 8 payments to go!! Woohoo
